How to Remove Dried Soap From Dishwasher Filters
- 1). Open the dishwasher door and pull out the bottom rack. Reach under the spinning arm on the bottom of the unit and grasp the top filter. Turn it to the left and pull it out of the machine.
- 2). Pull the bottom filter out from under the spinning arm. Take both the bottom and top filter to the sink.
- 3). Run lukewarm water over the bottom filter to rinse off any dried soap particles. Use a soft bristled scrub brush to scrub off any dried soap that will not rinse off.
- 4). Rinse out the top filter in lukewarm water and use a scrub brush on any particles that do not rinse out easily. Towel dry the top and bottom filters. Replace the bottom filter and the top filter, then replace the dish rack.
