New Middle School Site for FFA Features Garfield

The National FFA (Future Farmers of America) Organization offers agricultural science education in a club format for kids in grades 7 through 12. Through their program, children learn leadership, growth and career exploration in agricultural fields.

In keeping with their philosophy, the FFA has launched a new Web site aimed at teaching middle schoolers. The site features Garfield and his comic strip friends and it is awesome!

Comics help children learn about leadership, personal growth and career exploration -- the very things FFA is teaching. Plus kids can learn more about the FFA and it's programs.

But that's not the fun part.

The fun part -- or rather parts are the "build your own comics" section where kids can use the Garfield characters or create their own to design comic strips and the Ag-Witz Trivia game where players match wits against another player, or Garfield himself. I almost got lost playing it, but I did beat Garfield in this 3 round, tic-tac-toe style trivia game.

The new Web site is great. Kid friendly, colorful and fun. Your kids won't even realize how much they're learning. Check it out or learn more about the FFA Organization.
