So, after you've decided on your guest list, choose where you'll have the shower and reserve a spot.
3 - Cook-up the Menu Though your location may dictate the food that you choose, do spend some time early in the planning on the menu and the cake...
the cake is very important part of any shower! 4 - Create the Schedule: This is one of the most ignored steps - but it could make all the difference in the world! Sit down and plan out the schedule for your shower.
Allow enough time to eat, open gifts and play games.
Also be sure that the mommy-to-be will have time to walk around and greet everyone.
Once you are at the shower - it's your job to keep everything on schedule! 5 - Send the Invitations Grab the invites and get them out at least 4 - but no more than 6 - weeks before the event.
6 - Plan the Games Choose one to four games that you think will keep your guests entertained.
Be sure to grab supplies like pens, paper and other items that your guests will need to participate in the games.
7 - Decorate the Room Use a combination of table settings and linens, traditional party decorations like balloons, centerpieces that can double as prizes and favors to decorate the room.
