- 1). Mix 1/2 cup white vinegar with 1 qt. warm water in a container.
- 2). Wipe the mahogany table with a soft, dry cloth to remove any loose dirt and dust.
- 3). Dip a clean cloth into the solution and wring it out completely. Wipe the table with the cloth, following the direction of the wood grain to remove any spills or stains.
- 4). Dry the table with a clean, soft cloth.
- 5). Apply wood polish to a soft cloth, and polish the furniture according to the manufacturer's instructions. Don't use more than the manufacturer recommends, to prevent dulling buildup.
