How to Get Eyeshadow Stains Out of the Carpet
- 1). Blot the eyeshadow stains with a clean, white cloth, pressing firmly. This should work on surface stains.
- 2). If simple blotting doesn't remove the stain, apply a dry cleaning solvent with the white cloth, such as Afta Cleaning Fluid.
- 3). Blot the stains until all the cleaner is absorbed, and the stains are gone.
- 1). Pour two cups of warm water into a receptacle. Add 1 tsp. of dishwashing liquid to the warm water, and mix well.
- 2). Apply the mixture to the carpet stains using a clean cloth, sponging the cleaner into the stain.
- 3). Blot the stain until all the liquid is absorbed, and the stain is gone.
- 1). For tougher eyeshadow stains, try mixing 1 tbsp. of ammonia with 1/2 cup of warm water.
- 2). Apply the cleaner to a cloth, and sponge the affected area until saturated.
