- Synthetic Cordura is commonly used to make luggage, backpacks, boots, military wear and performance apparel. Because it is a rugged fabric made to be used in conditions where it might be scraped, dropped or beaten down, it's effective material for outdoor use and harsh conditions.
- Synthetic Cordura is a nylon based material. It has several types including air-jet textured nylon fabrics, ultra light weight nylon, and high tenacity polyester fabrics.
- Because cordura fabrics are resilient, care is undemanding. For clothing, wash on a low temperature setting with mild detergent. Air dry or dry on low setting. Do not bleach. For upholstery, backpacks and luggage, a spray-on cleaner will work.
