I recently posted an article about a basic SEO plan on how you can get noticed without spending the big bucks. This article will help those that have a small business and want to see strong improvement and need to have good results. It might be a good idea if you haven't read my past article called SEO MKTING, to go and read it. It will outline some good pointers.

Earlier we talked about how content is king with SEO. It still holds true for this article and always will. However, just as much as having good content is researching and having good keywords. Don't expect to just have them at the tip of your tongue. You will be surprised on the results. I personally use the Google Keywords Tool to help me select and narrow down my keywords. What you will want to do is type in a few ideas you have relating to your website. Words that relate to your specific niche, product, or service and see how many times those exact keywords are searched for a month. Don't fall into the trap of thinking that the more searches a month, the better you're going to do. Very often, those keywords are going to be very competitive and will take way too much work.

After you have found a solid group of about 10 keywords, focus the content on your website around those keywords. Have your top keyword used the most to your last being the least used.

There are three places that we need to place your top keyword. At the top there is a page title on every website, it is usually at the top left of the screen. For example, this site it should read Custome SEO Plan. That is very powerful, the next place you need is in the URL. It is good to have a page dedicated to your specific keywords. Exactly like we have here, this url is going to be linked as hubpages.com/hub/Custome-SEO-plan. If that were my keyword that I was competing for, that would be exactly where I want it. The next place you have your specific keyword is in the text body of you site. Look how many times I have SEO in the text of my page that you have been reading. 5 times? That is a good amount.

Once you have your keyword in those 3 areas, you are well on your way. You have just given google and other search engines a very easy path to read your site and pull out your main theme and it helps these search engines put your customers to your site.

A good start up website with good SEO, is a site dedicated to phoenix contractors.

If you have some specific questions about this process that we have gone over in this article, post them in the comments box and I will answer each one.
