- 1). Unfold two umbrella strollers of the same make and model, and set them up, securing all locking devices. Two identical strollers work best in this situation because they will line up perfectly for an optimal fit with the connectors.
- 2). Line up the strollers side by side. Check to make sure the front wheels, back wheels and handles are aligned. Umbrella strollers with round tubing work best, but strollers with triangular or rectangular tubes also may work.
- 3). Place the first connector around the back inside tubing of one of the strollers at the top of the stroller near the bottom of the handles. Connect the other side of the connector to the back inside tubing of the second stroller. Squeeze the connector, and click it into place.
- 4). Attach the other two connectors using the same method as the first connector. These two connectors should be attached below the first connector, with one connector in the middle and one near the rear wheels. The strollers will be securely connected about 6 inches apart.
- 5). Push the newly assembled double stroller. Check to make sure the stroller does not come apart when you move or put weight in it.
