How to Remove Chalk Stains
- 1). Brush off surface chalk with a dry cloth.
- 2). Fold several paper towels in half and lay on a flat surface. Lay the garment on top of the paper towels with the stain facing down.
- 3). Saturate a cloth with rubbing alcohol. Dab the back of the stain several times with the saturated cloth.
- 4). Rinse the area with a clean damp cloth.
- 5). Create a sudsy mixture of 2 cups cool water and 1 tbsp. of a mild dish-washing liquid.
- 6). Saturate a clean cloth in the mixture. Rub the chalk stain with the cloth until the stain is gone.
- 7). Launder the garment as you normally would.
- 1). Remove as much chalk as possible with your vacuum.
- 2). Create a solution of 2 cups warm water and 1 tbsp. of a mild dish-washing liquid.
- 3). Saturate a clean cloth in the solution.
- 4). Blot the chalk stain with the cloth until the stain is gone.
- 5). Wipe the area clean with a damp cloth. Allow the carpet to air dry.
