How to Clean Red Clay Soil From Hardwood Floors
- 1). Sweep away as much of the clay as possible with a broom and dustpan.
- 2). Apply Murphy's Oil Soap to a clean cloth and use it thoroughly saturate any residual clay stuck on the floor.
- 3). Allow the oil soap to soak on the clay for 10 to 15 minutes.
- 4). Use a clean dry towel or paper towels to clean up the now softened residual clay.
- 5). Wipe the floors clean with a clean cloth dipped in the oil soap once all of the clay is removed.
