How to Make a Wuzzle

    • 1). Choose a common phrase or cliche, such as "he's got a bat in his belfry." Identify the important objects, such as "bat" and "belfry" in this case.

    • 2). Check if any of the objects are plural. There are no plurals in this case, but plurals and specific numbers should be indicated by repetition of the pluralized word.

    • 3). See how the objects interact. In this case, the bats are located inside the belfry. This is important in deciding how the words are arranged. Here, the word "bat" will be repeated several times inside "belfry" split into two parts.

    • 4). Draw how the words will be arranged on a piece of paper. If there are several ways to do it, decide which one looks the best. The example would end up looking like this: BELbatFRY.

    • 5). Redraw the wuzzle neatly on a blank piece of paper. To keep it contained from other wuzzles that may be on the page, draw a rectangle around it using a straight edge.
