- 1). Lay a piece of card stock on your work space, positioning it horizontally in front of you.
- 2). Lay up to three pieces of tissue paper on top of the card stock, varying the colors if you like. Gently smooth out the tissue pieces.
- 3). Fold the card stock, along with the tissue, in half horizontally. The paper should look like a book with the card stock on the outside.
- 4). Clip the edges of the open side of the book together with binder clips, making the card stock and tissue easier to manipulate.
- 5). Sketch a design on the card stock with a pencil. Incorporate skeleton motifs, cathedral windows, crosses, and hearts.
- 6). Cut through your design and down into the layers of tissue paper with a utility knife. The knife must be very sharp so you don't tear the tissue paper. Work slowly to avoid mistakes.
- 7). Gently unfold your papers and lift the tissue pieces up off of each other. You should have up to three pieces of highly designed paper.
