Top comment-getting topic was The Amazing Race's Luke and Margie, with opinions spread over three posts on the subject of the deaf contestant and his mother. My personal pick for comment of the week is this one, left by commenter sylrayj in response to a post on how long a parent's fuse should be: "Maybe the best thing I?ve learned is that I?m fortunate my kid can cover herself from head to toe in pudding -- she?s no longer in NICU. I can just put her in the tub, just put her clothes in the wash, and I can listen to her splashing around, making up little stories.
She can babble, her speech is getting better, and with patience I?m managing to be able to wash the pudding out of her hair without too much crying. I am blessed with a child who *CAN* get into everything. I just hope she learns some self-preservation."
