- Place stencils with the word "Fall" (and a falling leaves stencil) on top of a solid-colored t-shirt (brown for example) to create a seasonal t-shirt. Use fabric paint and a round paint brush to apply the different colors. Each alphabetical letter of the season should appear in a different color. The letter "F" could be in red and the letter "A" in yellow, for example. Place the season name in the lower right-hand corner of the shirt before painting and the painted falling leaves in gold, red, orange and yellow in the middle top section of the shirt. Let it dry for 48 hours. Turn the shirt inside out before washing it in cool water on gentle cycle.
- Ask your daughter to put her hand onto a piece of paper so you can trace it. Cut out the print and use it as a template to make a total of nine other print impressions. Make three impression cut-outs in one color, three in another color and the final three in yet another color. Choose colors based on the season (yellow, orange and brown for autumn, for example). Use craft glue to form a circle using the nine palm print sections of the cut-outs. The finger sections of the cut-outs should be facing outward.
- Make a new handbag for the price of a table placemat. Find a design and color that suits your seasonal wardrobe and purchase matching thread for it. Fold it into the shape of a clutch purse -- folded into three equal-sized sections lengthwise. Unfold the top section, leaving one section still on top of the other. Sew along the sides made by these two portions, to create the pouch of the clutch purse. A clasp can be hand sewn onto the flap of the new clutch -- and its closure clasp portion onto the clutch pouch section.
- Use a circle punch tool (a 1-inch sized one) to create a circle hole in the center of one of two pieces of fabric of your choice. Slide a small transparency sheet piece over the circle hole, with a little of it attached to the fabric around the hole with craft glue. Add a photo over the covered hole and transparency sheet. Glue the surrounding sides of the photo to the fabric, too. Sew the two pieces together, with the photo facing you on one side and the fabric design on the other. Add a small piece of ribbon first, leaving a loop section outside the fabric, to hold your key ring.
