- 1). Launch Internet Explorer and proceed to the "Windows Genuine Advantage Web page."
- 2). Read the information regarding validation and click the "Validate Now" button.
- 3). Click "Yes" in the security dialog box and "OK" in the information bar dialog box.
- 4). Click the yellow information bar near the top of your browser and click "Install ActiveX Control."
- 5). Click "Install" when the Internet Explorer Security Warning dialog box appears. The next page will be a validation complete page.
