    • 1). Follow the link under the Resources section. Press the "Upload" button at the left of the screen, choose an MP3, WMA or OGG audio file from your computer and press "Open."

    • 2). Click on the timeline to place the markers that will set the range and clip duration. The first click of the timeline will be where the ringtone will start and the second click will be where the ringtone will end. Since the duration of a phone ringing is much shorter than an entire song, this step allows you to select a specific range in the song for your ringtone.

    • 3). Press the "Selected" button to listen to your clip. The "Selected" button is located on the same row as the "Upload" button between the "Stop and "Undo" buttons. After listening to your ringtone, you can repeat Step 2 to make changes.

    • 4). Select a file format you want your ringtone to be saved as, then select a bit rate you want your file to be saved as. A higher bit rate will make the size of the file larger and will increase sound quality.

    • 5). Connect your Palm's data cable from your Palm to your computer. Choose the "Cell Phone" option under the "Download" setting to download the ringtone directly to your Palm. Click "Make Ring Tone."

    • 6). Press "Make a Ringtone" to convert MP3 to a ringtone.
