Samsung Flip Shop Camera Instructions
- The common way to take pictures with mobile phones is to point the lens on the back of the camera at the subject and press a shutter button. Samsung FlipShot users can use this method for taking pictures. To take a picture, place the FlipShot in camera mode by pressing the right navigation button and pressing "2" on the phone's keypad. A list of camera options will appear on the screen. Press "5" to select "Take Picture." The LCD screen will display whatever the camera is pointed at, and adjust as you move the phone.
If you want to adjust the camera's settings, such as the brightness of the photograph, the self-timer or the auto focus, press the right soft key. Use the navigation buttons to scroll through and change the options, and save them by pressing the "OK" button.
Once the settings are entered, point the camera at the subject and press the red "Photo Capture/OK" button halfway to set the focus. The onscreen meter will turn to green when the camera is focused. Press the "Photo Capture/OK" button fully to take the picture.
If you want to take a video, press the right navigation key, and press "2" and then "6," for "Record Video." Point the camera at the subject of the video and press the "OK" button to start recording. If you want to pause recording, press the left soft key once, and press it again to resume recording. Finish recording by pressing "OK." - You can adjust the LCD screen on the FlipShot so that the phone is held like a conventional digital camera. To place the phone in "Digital Camera Mode," open the phone, rotate the LCD screen 180 degrees and close the phone. The LCD is now on the outside and the phone automatically enters camera mode.
If you want to change the settings, press the "Camera Options" button on the side of the camera. A list of options will appear on the screen, which you can navigate with the "Volume/Zoom" button. Save any adjustments by pressing the "Photo Capture/OK" button.
To take a picture, point the camera lens at the subject of the photograph and press the "Photo Capture/OK" button halfway, to allow the camera to focus. When the green indicator light comes on the screen, press the "Photo Capture/OK" button fully to take the picture.
Recording video requires you to press the "Camera/Camcorder" button on the phone prior to placing it in "Digital Camera Mode." Once "Camera/Camcorder" is selected, point the camera at the subject of the video and press the "Photo Capture/OK" button. Pause the recording by pressing the "Camera Options" button, and press it again to resume recording. To stop recording, press the "Photo Capture/OK" button.
