Nowadays it seems like your air keeps getting heavier with each passing day. In some states the smog is so heavy that it is hard to breathe. If you happened to be in an airplane flying over one of these states you would be surprised by how thick this smog is. It will look like a brown blanket over your city. Sometimes this blanket will make the sun have trouble shining through the clouds. This problem will only get worse as time goes by. It does not help that we keep adding more cars to our roads every day either.
If the wind happens to be blowing on any given day it can cause this smog blanket to travel for miles and miles away. Smog can cause you to have breathing problems that can remain with you the rest of your lives. It can cause you problems with your eyes as well. It will make them water sometimes so bad that you will look like you are crying. The more you rub the more they will itch and over a short time of doing this your eyes will become swollen. You will also be coughing so hard by this time that it will become almost impossible to breathe or even to catch your breath.
We really need to make our cars burn cleaner fuels and keep up the maintenance on our vehicles. The first situation has to be done by our auto makers and of course the second part has to be covered by us. If you have an old car the is an oil burner try to get it fixed but if you can not try to find one that might be newer. Remember that an older car is only adding to the problem of this brown blanket. There is one more thing that will only make the blanket worse and that is the big companies that still send their black smoke into the blanket.
The government has already made them clean their pipes up but you will still see from time to time the black smoke coming out of these big pipes. Your air is already bad enough so these companies should not be able to send smog into your air at all. They should find better ways to get rid of the smog with out putting it in the air. If you think that you might have a company in your area that is putting too much of this in your air, you need to find the proper officials and report it.
