How to Work With Mica Snow
- 1). Spray the object you want to dust with "snowflakes" with clear adhesive.
- 2). Sprinkle a small amount of mica snow over the glue, and allow it to dry thoroughly.
- 3). Shake off the excess flakes, or brush off clumps with a paintbrush before hanging or displaying your winter-themed piece.
- 1). Combine white glue or white paint and water, until it reaches a paint-like thickness. White paint will give your finished piece a bright-white appearance.
- 2). Paint the glue mixture on the object you want to coat with snow.
- 3). Press the object firmly into a shallow dish full of mica snow, rolling to ensure all surfaces are covered.
- 4). Smooth the flakes with your fingers as the glue dries, so you have a flat surface when the drying is complete and the object is ready to display.
