•Parallax

Parallax combines sleek modern decor with exceptional food and friendly, knowledgeable service. One of veteran NE Ohio chef Zack Bruell's establishments, the menu fuses Asian cuisine with international bistro favorites. There's a sushi bar along with a smattering of grilled and braised meats. The menu changes seasonally to take advantage of local produce and other seasonal ingredients.

•Lolita

Lolita's is Cleveland Iron Chef, Michael Symon's contribution to the Tremont restaurant scene. Symon, one of the pioneers in Tremont dining, offers tasty Mediterranean cuisine in a casual setting at Lolita. The menu features a variety of cured meats (pork is Symon's favorite food group) as well as pizzas, pastas, small plates, burgers, and grilled entrees. Lolita's is open for dinner only Tuesday through Sunday.

•Sokolowski's University Inn

Overlooking the Cuyahoga Valley and downtown Cleveland on the edge of Tremont is an often over-looked gem of a restaurant--Sokolowski's University Inn. This family-run restaurant, in business since 1923, specializes in Polish and Eastern European food and highlights include pierogi, kielbasa and their home-made soups. The atmosphere is casual; you have to go through the line to get your food, but you'd be challenged to find better (or more authentic Cleveland) fare anywhere in the city.

Sokolowski's is open Monday through Friday for lunch and Friday and Saturday for dinner.

•Fahrenheit

Fahrenheit, Chef Rocco Whalen's Tremont eatery, combines innovative cuisine with an elegant, stylish dining room. The menu features such things as coffee and mustard-crusted pork tenderloin; oven-roasted pizza with wild mushrooms, goat cheese and carmelized onions; and pan-seared walleye with a tarragon bearnaise sauce. Fahrenheit serves dinner Monday through Saturday. Al fresco seating is available during the warmer months.
