• While Blu-ray players have great advantages for movie watchers and game fans, there are some downsides. The discs have so much content that it can take several minutes to load. In addition, Blu-ray technology is the newest form of home media so players are now are more expensive. Prices on Blu-ray players will drop as the technology becomes more popular.
