    Springtown Wild West Festival

    • The Springtown Wild West Festival is the biggest event in this small town's yearly calendar and takes place once a year on the third Saturday in September. Festival features include a parade, cook-off, horse rides and giant inflatable rides for children, craft and food stalls and martial arts competitions.

      Past festival parades featured a selection of stagecoaches and horses, vintage automobiles, several marching bands and many decorated floats. Cook-off teams compete for $2,000 in prizes for an entry fee of $75 per team. Categories judged include chicken, pork spare ribs, brisket and beans. The center of this festival is at the historic town square, where events take place between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m; the parade begins at 10 a.m.

    Springtown All American Fair

    • The Springtown All American Fair is a yearly event held on Main Street between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. by the Springtown War Memorial Association to raise funds for a proposed war memorial in Springtown Park. The festival, held annually on the second Saturday in June, aims to, "honor, recognize and forever remember those who have given their lives, who are currently serving and veterans who have served our country in the U. S. Military."

      The All American Fair features live musical entertainment during the day from a selection of artists like "The Texas Wildflower Cloggers" and "The Glory Land Boys", patriotic photo exhibits and a selection of food and drink booths. For younger visitors, there is a children's play area with clowns and a hot dog eating contest.

      This non-profit organization meets at in the City Hall on the first Monday of the month and welcomes visitors.Other events organized by the SWMA include public Memorial and Veteran's day commemorations.

    Springtown Lions Club Events

    • The Springtown Mayfest is an event held annually on the second Saturday in May and sponsored by the local Springtown Lions Club. This club holds regular member lunches and is responsible for organizing local events, such as silent auctions. It also maintains the Lions Club Gym located across the road from the Hilltop Church.

    Springtown Annual Chamber Banquet

    • The Springtown Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet is held once a year, on the first Saturday in March at the Springtown High School Cafeteria. Guests arrive at 6:30 p.m. and the dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. After dinner, guests enjoy an entertainment program featuring motivational speakers.
