- 1). Connect the HD projection television to the HD audio/video device (such as an HD cable/satellite receiver, Blu-ray player or next-generation video game system). Insert an HDMI cable into the "HDMI Out" port on the audio/video device, then connect the other end into an "HDMI In" port on the projection television.
- 2). Press the "Menu" button on the connected device. The television automatically displays the highest quality video that is output by the hooked up equipment.
- 3). Select "Options," then choose "Aspect Ratio" (the exact phrasing may vary slightly, depending on the equipment you are calibrating with the high-definition projection television).
- 4). Choose either "1080" or "720" (depending on the resolution of your television, as both are HD), and push "OK." This accepts the video changes and calibrates the connected HD equipment to the projection television.
