    • 1). Open Windows Vista's "Control" panel. Click the "Start" menu, then click the "Control Panel" icon located on its right side.

    • 2). Navigate to the "Fonts" folder. Open the "Appearance and Personalization" section of the Control Panel, then click "Fonts" to be taken to a list of fonts currently available on your system.

    • 3). Install new fonts from ".TTF" files you've downloaded to your computer or from an external medium. Click the "File" menu, then click "Install New Font." Browse your computer's hard drive or your external storage medium until you locate the file -- following the pathway "Drives," "Folders," "List of Fonts" -- then click "Install."
