    • 1). Remove the ATV seat and storage compartment covering by loosening the Torx screws holding them in place. Remove the air box faring by using a flat-head screwdriver to loosen the clips holding the air box cover in place. Depending on the specific model of ATV, additional screws might need to be removed to gain full access to the air box.

    • 2). Remove the screws that secure the air box to the ATV's carburetor bodies. Lift up the rear of the air box until the crankcase vent tube can be reached. Loosen the crankcase vent-tube hose by compressing the clamp tabs with a pair of pliers. Slide the vent tube off the air box and gently pull the air box of the machine.

    • 3). Cut the zip tie and loosen the clamp that holds the factory belt-case snorkel to the ATV. Work the snorkel off by gently pulling and rocking the boot off of the connector. Remove the fuel bowls and install new fuel jets. Replace the fuel bowls and reinstall the belt-case snorkel using the hose clamp.

    • 4). Remove the vacuum slide covers from the machine along with the needle springs, carriers and needles inside. Install the needle shims included with the snorkel kit. Replace the shimmed needles into the vacuum slides. Install the kit's springs on the nipple at the bottom of the vacuum slide. Reinstall the vacuum slide covers with the new components in place.

    • 5). Remove the factory air box snorkel by loosening the hose clamp. Clean the air box and place securing tape from the snorkel kit around the air box inlet. Apply a small amount of lubricating oil onto the snorkel inlet and firmly push it onto the securing tape around the air box inlet. Place the air box back into the ATV and secure it with the appropriate fasteners. Turn the snorkel inlet slightly to clear any engine components in the way.

    • 6). Reattach the crankcase vent tube to the air box and replace the faring and screws to complete the installation.
