- 1). Sand the underside of the plug for a few seconds using sandpaper.
- 2). Coat the plug with a thin layer of resin.
- 3). Drill two holes about 4 inches apart where the fin plugs will be inserted.
- 4). Slide the fin plugs into the holes. Make sure the plugs are flush against the board.
- 5). Fill excess space with fiberglass to secure the plugs. Let dry before testing the board.
