- 1). Cut both hand grips along their entire length with a utility knife.
- 2). Peel the old hand grips away from the handlebar to remove them.
- 3). Scrape away any remaining glue from the handlebar with the utility knife.
- 4). Apply a thin layer of grip glue to the outside edge of the left handlebar and to the inside edge of the left hand grip.
- 5). Slide the left hand grip onto the left handlebar with one swift motion. Do not stop until the grip is completely on the handlebar. Apply pressure with your hand for 15 seconds.
- 6). Add a thin layer of grip glue to the outside edge of the throttle tube and to the inside edge of the right hand grip.
- 7). Slide the right hand grip onto the throttle tube with one swift motion. Apply pressure with your hand for 15 seconds. Do not allow the grip glue to get under the throttle tube.
- 8). Wait for the grip glue to dry completely before riding the motorcycle.
