Toddler summer programs in Marietta, Georgia, range from swim lessons and story time at the library to ballet lessons and summer day camps. Some of the summer programs available in town are designed for parents to attend with their toddlers, but most programs are structured for working parents. - The Georgia Ballet offers two summer programs for toddlers, each five weeks long. The first, called Movement for Mommy and Me, is a preparatory class for two-year-old children that aims to accustom the child to stretching, rhythm exercises and traveling steps. Mothers participate and encourage their children with the movement. The other toddler class, PreBallet 1, is for children ages three and four. This program introduces toddlers to ballet as well as to good posture, rhythm and coordination. The exercises involved in this program strengthen young muscles.
