  For baseball players looking to improve their game or showcase their talents in Indiana there are a variety of different options. The Hoosier state has more than its fair share of baseball camps and showcases. These range from baseball camps for young players to camps on college campuses designed to showcase top level high school players' ability.
  
  

Indiana University

• Indiana University offers its Tracey Smith Hoosier Baseball Camp in the summer for baseball players of all ages. Hoosier camp takes place right on the campus of Indiana University so players get the real feel of big time college baseball. The camp ranges from an overnight camp for campers ages 8 to 16 to a Lil' Hoosiers camp for players ages 6 to 8. There is also a commuter camp for players in the 8 to 16 age range. Players will spend their days learning the fundaments of baseball from Coach Tracey Smith and his staff of current and former college and professional baseball players, as well as current college coaches. Campers who sign up in advance will also secure a camp t-shirt. This camp is usually run in early July.

Indiana State University

• Indiana State University offers a fall camp and clinic held by its coach Rick Heller. The high school prospect camp is designed for players in grades 9 to 12 to show off their ability while getting drills and instruction from Coach Heller and his staff. Along with instruction there are competitive games and scrimmages during the camp. The cost to attend is $125 and the location is normally on Indiana State's campus. Areas of focus at the camp are hitting, fielding, base running and individual mental preparation.

Crossroads Baseball Showcase

• The Crossroads Baseball Showcase is designed for top baseball talent in Indiana to have an opportunity to show their skills in front of college coaches. Crossroads is specifically designed for rising juniors and seniors in high school. It makes a stop in Gary, Indiana and is played at "The Steel Yard," which is the home of the Gary Railcats. This showcase is by invitation only and if you have been invited you will hear from your high school or American Legion ball coach.
