Carrie - Originally my husband and I found this campground when we were invited by some new friends many years ago. We've gone back there many, many times. We were last there in May 2001.
Campground Review
This campground is great because there is no road separating the camping area from the ocean, just a huge stretch of dunes and shrubbery. It has a wetlands nature conserve within walking distance too.
And it's so well designed that nearly all of the 90 or so sites are made private by strategically planted tall shrubbery and trees, but it still looks totally natural, like Nature just flung it there! All that and falling to sleep to the sound of distant waves makes even a 24 hour visit memorable!
