Use a special plywood blade to make your cuts. This blade is smaller, has more teeth and makes smoother cuts with less splintering. - 3). Set the Shopsmith to a lower speed for the higher torque needed to make a smooth cut through plywood.
- 4). Press the stock firmly into the guide while slowly and steadily pushing it toward the blade. Do not push faster than the blade can manage.
- 5). Turn off the Shopsmith and allow the blade to come to a complete stop before removing stock or scrap.
