- 1). Pour the water into a bowl.
- 2). Add the Epsom salt and mix the two ingredients together. You want the Epsom salt to dissolve in the water.
- 3). Place a towel in the bowl and let it soak up the mixture.
- 4). Wring the towel out and place it over the bruise or insect bite.
- 5). Re-wet the compress every 10 minutes and reapply.
