    Minor Side Effects

    • Individuals taking Precare Premier may experience upset stomach, nausea, headache, and an unusual or unpleasant taste in the mouth. These are not considered serious side effects and do not affect a large number of users.

    Severe Side Effects

    • Some of the more severe side effects of Precare Premier include allergic reactions, hives, rash, difficulty breathing, tightening of the chest, and swelling of the mouth, lips and tongue. These side effects are also very uncommon and only affect a small number of users.

    Important Safety Information

    • Always avoid taking another multivitamin supplement within two hours of taking Precare Premier as it can lead to a vitamin overdose and some of the previously mentioned severe side effects. An overdose of Vitamin A, D, K or E can lead to life-threatening conditions and can also cause harm to an unborn baby. Never take this supplement with milk or any other dairy product as calcium may make it harder for your body to absorb some of the vitamins.

    Usage

    • Always take Precare Premier exactly as it was prescribed to you by your doctor and never in dosages larger than what has been recommended on the label. The supplement is administered in pill form and should be taken with a full glass of water. Precare Premier can be taken with or without food, however, it should be swallowed whole and should never be crushed or opened.

    Warning

    • If you experience any of the above side effects, contact your doctor for an adjusted supplemental plan.

If an overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center and head directly to the nearest emergency room.

Precare Premier is meant for use as a prenatal vitamin supplement and should not be used for any other purposes unless specifically prescribed by your doctor.
