It's shocking...
Recently, I happened to look at the label on a jar of well know European day moisturizing cream.
To my horror, I read the words - Paraben, Mineral Oil, Paraffin, Collagen, Fragrance, SPF and a few other dodgy looking names I couldn't pronounce or understand.
If you know anything about natural moisturizing creams, you certainly wouldn't include any of the above ingredients in one.
They are all no - no ingredients for paraben free facial moisturizers.
If you research paraben and some of these other suspect ingredients on the Internet, you may be a little more careful selecting the next skin care product your willing to rub onto your face.
There has been some pretty scary research conducted, that indicates parabens can create intense oxidative stress and severe DNA damage.
However, other sites, some of which are obviously cosmetic companies, are more positive towards using certain varieties of parabens in skin creams.
That said, when it comes to applying a big blob of skin cream on my face, I don't want to take any chances.
If a natural product you can actually eat if you want to.
Gives the same results or even better using natural ingredients, why would you bother even considering the chemically based equivalent product.
Recently, a new brand of paraben free facial moisturizers was released onto the market, that I have now been happily trying for only a short time now.
The thing that got me interested in the first place was that this range of anti aging skin creams has ingredients that are all natural and some unique.
They have the capability to not only moisturize, but also increase your collagen and elastin levels internally under your skin.
They accomplish this by using a patented method to deliver a natural ingredient they recently developed called Cynergy TK TMthat contains functional keratin TM.
This ingredient is able to penetrate deeply into your skin and stimulate your collagen and elastin protein molecules to re-grow.
Obviously, a quality natural moisturizer will need to include ingredients like shea butter, jojoba, macadamia and grapeseed oils to keep your skin well moisturized.
And emollients like avocado extract and active manuka honey help soothe and soften your skin without clogging your pores In conclusion, be careful when evaluating products other than paraben free facial moisturizers.
Don't waste your money on creams that could have the potential to damage your health and skin.
