Love 101
1.
Love is not a right - it is a privilege.
2.
Real love is unconditional - no agenda, no rules, just go with the flow.
3.
Love is not permanent - it must be earned and maintained.
4.
Love does not fix all of your problems - the wrong love will only create more problems.
5.
Love must be kept in perspective - it requires consistency, decency and respect; it will not always be beneficial although it will usually enlighten you in the end.
Love is usually associated with a craving for the person we love, and often it is connected to feelings of discomfort.
Until we learn to accept that love is a responsibility as well as a sense of security then we will never be able to navigate the oceans of love with any form of control.
Love cannot be sucked out of another person; there is no true love if it is forced upon or desperately needed.
Love only succeeds when it is built on a solid foundation of mutual understanding; it must be equal for it to be worthwhile and it must be between two individuals who want another to enhance their life.
There is no weakness in true love.
True love is unconditional - not in the sense that one allows another to do as they please no matter what the consequences, but in the sense that one allows another to excel at who they are, to make mistakes, to be given freedom - each partner loving unconditionally with clarity, dignity and respect.
For, if their behavior is not respectful then the love will fade anyway; if their behavior is flawed then the mistakes should be rectified; if their behavior is built on their positive words and actions going together then (and only then) the love will last.
Do not expect love to be easy or blissful, hope that it is an adventure, maintain the connection.
Love - a constant work of art.
