Troubleshooting LG Phone Ringtones
- 1). Find out your LG phone's space availability to see if the ringtone file you're trying to download is too large. Each LG phone has different space requirements, based on the model and the phone, but you can find your phone's space constraints under "Phone Information" on your phone. Look for the same ringtone in a lower quality or pay to increase the phone's memory if your space is limited.
- 2). Listen to the speakers for other sounds that can ruin the sound of a ringtone. If the speakers are broken or damaged, the ringtone will sound as though it is underwater or otherwise garbled. In this situation, a technician must fix the speakers or you'll have to buy a new phone to get a normal ringtone sound again.
- 3). Investigate the quality of the ringtone itself. A bad ringtone downloaded from the Internet will not sound good no matter how many adjustments you make to the LG phone. Try the other ringtones stored in your phone to see if the quality of those tones is better. If the other ringtones sound OK, get rid of the bad ringtone and download a new one.
