Here are simple steps to begin incorporating meditation into your life.

RELAX
I have found in my journey that being relaxed is key to receiving.
Yes, receiving material goods, and also to receiving guidance, to knowing my truth, and trusting myself in which choice that I make at any given time.
You can achieve all of this by being in a relaxed state and practicing meditation.
For some people, being in a heightened state of awareness really brings them to their clarity.
And for some of us, it's more about being in a more relaxed place to breathe, exhale, and open ourselves up in our activity so we're relaxed in whatever it is we're doing.
A relaxed meditative state of being brings us an inner peace and a genuine quality of trusting our self.
2.
Make Yourself Comfortable
First, make yourself comfortable.
Begin by finding a position that is good for you.
Examples are sitting cross-legged on the floor, sitting upright in a chair, lying down on the floor, a bed, a sofa, or wherever is comfortable for you.
The important thing is to make sure your spine and back are upright and straight, not stiff or rigid.
Allow your spine to be comfortably straight, not slouched or curled over but to be receptive and gently alert.

Support Your Spine
Making sure that your spine feels supported during meditation is VERY important.
Your spine is your "antenna".
It helps you receive spiritual guidance and acts as your grounding wire into the earth which allows you to receive the basic instinctual energy that is so necessary for you to be successful in your life.
Your spine is the link between your spiritual connection above and your earthly connection from below.
It is the combination, the marriage of these two energies within us that supports us, guides us, carries us, and provides for us in our life.
By following these three simple steps (relax, make yourself comfortable, and make sure your spine is supported) now you are in a position to begin meditation.
