If you want to succeed in business or life, you've got to have belief.
As a Team Beachbody Coach, or a rep for any other network marketing company, you've got to be 100% committed in your belief that you offer the best products and the best opportunity to anyone looking to get results.
In the case of Beachbody, that means you have to believe that the products you represent help people get great results and that they'll have an excellent experience as a customer.
You also have to know in your heart of hearts that anyone looking for an opportunity to get involved in a home-based business would be foolish to pass up the opportunity to start doing business with you.
Notice that last sentence.
I didn't say they'd be foolish to not become a Team Beachbody coach, that's obvious.
Surely you believe that the company offers a fantastic compensation plan, has visionary leadership and the management has a well-calibrated moral compass.
That part goes without saying.
Here's what we so easily overlook.
You have to believe that you're the critical ingredient! Don't rely on the products.
Everybody knows P90X is phenomenal.
If they've turned on a TV in the last 5 years, they also know where to get it and they don't need you.
Don't rely on the company, either.
Carl Daikeler and company run a great ship and it's heading in the right direction but it can get there with or without you.
The question you have to ask yourself is, what can I offer my new coaches to get them started right? Can I appeal to people as a leader, coach and mentor? If you can't answer those questions right now, here's some food for thought...
You are totally unique.
There is no one like you anywhere on this planet.
No body has your specific combination of skills and outlook on life.
You absolutely have something incredibly valuable to offer and you can develop yourself as a leader.
But first, you must believe.
You must believe you can do it and then you need to start taking action.
What jobs have you held? What extracurriculars did you participate in during school? Did you go to summer camp? Have you played a sport? Ever been to the beach? Have you ever spent a night in a tent? All of these may sound unrelated to building a fitness business but I promise you, the answers to these questions and hundreds of others form the shape of who you are and what makes you unique.
If you will take the time to formulate some thoughts around how these unique experiences could help you become more in tune with other people's needs as they develop in fitness and in business, then you will have the kernel of a belief in yourself.
You can develop an unshakable, unwavering belief in who you are and what you offer that will become absolutely infectious to people around you.
Doing this work, developing a belief in yourself, is the one thing most people will never do for themselves and its the reason that only 10% or so of all Beachbody coaches even get their first promotion to Emerald.
You can join the ranks of the elite coaches in the company if you will first invest in yourself and then take that belief out into the marketplace.
As your certainty in your own uniqueness and value grows, others will see it.
As you then pour your gifts into developing others you can achieve anything you set out to accomplish.
