  California has a wealth of parks designed for motocross riding. Whether you live in the Central Valley or South of L.A., chances are there's a park nearby. Most of them offer freshly-watered tracks and reasonable fees, and are suitable for both experienced riders and those just starting out. Many motocross parks also host racing tournaments throughout the year.
  
  

AV Motoplex

• Located at the Antelope Valley Fairground in Lancaster and in operation since 2005, this motocross park holds racing tournaments all year long. The park has a main track and a separate mini track that is intended for beginning riders. You can sign up for racing membership for free, and the park is available whenever an annual event or race is not scheduled.
  
  

Milestone MX

• Milestone MX, with eight tracks for riders of different ages and levels, is located in Riverside. The Main Track covers 10.3 acres and is watered every morning to keep dust down. It's also lit for night riding. The Pewee Track is built specifically for young riders. The annual membership fee is nominal, but minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when registering. Throughout each year, Milestone hosts racing events and other motocross competitions.
  
  

Piru Motorcross Park

• Located in the Santa Clara River Valley of Southern California, Piru Park has two tracks: the Main National track and the Kids/ Adult 50 track. As of 2010, the main track was newly-designed and annual passes cost $950. The tracks can also be rented privately for four or six hours.
  
  

Tulare Motocross Park

• Open for practice four days a week, the Tulare Motocross Park is part of the Tulare Parks and Recreation Department and is located on Paige Avenue, which is three miles west of Highway 99 in the Central Valley. The Park has two tracks: a motocross track and a flat track. Both experienced riders and beginners are welcomed.
