Hi! My name is Eddie Leal, I¡¯m the Brew Master here at Steelhead brewing Company in Irvine California. We¡¯ll be talking about what makes an award winning beer. On my personal experience, what I believe makes award winning beer is¡­1, consistency, the quality of products that you use, and being clean. Actually, 80 % of brewing is cleaning. A clean brewery makes a happy brewery, basically. One is the consistency; you¡¯ve got to be consistent with every batch of beer that you make. With that where you gravity readings are always coming out the way you want it. Make sure you¡¯re in a routine; you¡¯re brewing process is always the same and make them better if you can. Being clean is very important because that way you can minimize the chances of getting any type of bacteria in your beer. Also, the types of products that you use; make sure you have quality products, and the way you store them too. Make your hops are stored correctly and your grain is also.
