Go Texan Day!
Fifty-five years in the making, today is Go Texan Day. If you're unfamiliar, Go Texan Day is held the Friday before the rodeo kicks off. People are encouraged to dress in their finest western wear as a means of cultivating the Rodeo spirit.
If you'd like to read a little more about the numerous peccadillos that compose the Rodeo, simply close your eyes, clap your hands twice and say "Rodeo, Rodeo, Rodeo" and the Rodeo fairy will visit you and tell you all about it.
Or you can click this. One of those is definitely true.
