How to Begin With Yoga

So first thing you want to make sure is that you know what is required from you.
To do this you need to answer a few simple questions for yourself.
First ask yourself why you want to do yoga.
If your answer is anything short term like, to look good for my next party, then stop right there.

Critically examine your schedule and make sure you have at least 20 minutes of free time per day to practice your yoga.
Lastly make sure it's medically responsible for you to start this exercise.

Make sure you deeply in hale and out hale for the whole session.
It will make your body go to a calm place where you can relax and concentrate.
You might forget to breath properly at some point but practice is key.

Always make sure you're doing it properly.
It's not important if you can't go deep into the poses, just make sure you are doing it properly.
For example with the down dog pose make sure you make an upside-down V shape with your body.
Don't worry if you don't know what the pose looks like, it will get to you soon enough.

A good 2 years into it and you should be able to name and show all poses with ease.

With the flow the key lies on pace.
You have to change position every few seconds in a smooth motion.
This type of yoga is very intense, you shouldn't be able to feel lazy doing this.
The other type is a completely other world.
Here you go into a pose [in a smooth motion] and hold it.
This can also be very intense because you have to stay focused all the time to keep your balance and to stay in alignment.
But in general the latter is better for beginners.
