How to Cut Sleeves to Make a Jersey
- 1). Choose the shirt you want to make into a jersey. Pick a T-shirt that fits the way you want a jersey to fit on your body -- either loose or tight, depending on your style.
- 2). Lay the T-shirt flat on a wide surface, either a bed or a table. Smooth out any wrinkles in the sleeves or body.
- 3). Cut along the seam of one sleeve with sharp scissors. Begin cutting at the armpit and slowly work your way up, staying as close to the seam as possible.
- 4). Repeat on the second sleeve.
