At this time of year the weather in the Lake District is actually surprising good, well usually anyway! This year Good Friday falls on 22nd April 2011 with Easter Sunday on the 24th and Easter Monday on the 25th April 2011. But the better weather spring weather gives a chance to show off the beautiful gardens of the Old Vicarage Bed and Breakfast as all of the pretty flowers like daffodils are blooming and the trees are coming to life again in one of the few beautiful B&B Ambleside with such a feel for tradition and comfort. This weather usually allows the perfect opportunity for some outdoor pursuits or for the not so confident a chance to hang onto the last of those cosy, comfortable days indoors.

There are many Ambleside guest house establishments but few with such beautiful gardens and views as the Old Vicarage bed and Breakfast in Ambleside. The gardens are perfect for Easter Egg Hunts. Another specialist feature of this wonderful Lake District B&B is the fact that it has it's own indoor heated swimming pool. It is perfect for a lovely leisurely swim, a spot of exercise or it is great for a wake up in the morning. So even if the weather is a touch on the cold and wet side as is so often the case in the Lake District you can still have a relaxing and great time in the bed and breakfast. Staff at the Old Vicarage bed and breakfast in Ambleside provide all guests with dressing gowns, slippers and towels and the pool is open from 8am through to 7pm each day. The only thing the guest needs to remember is their swimming costume or shorts. There is also a lovely sauna to relax in if customers can stand the heat and a large hot tub, the bubbles should help to ease away some of the aches and pains after walking the beautiful Lakeland Fells

Easter breaks at the Old Vicarage are for a minimum of two nights and the rates are based on a per person per night basis and this includes a full Lakeland breakfast. It is based on two people sharing a double or a twin room and a single supplement will be applied if necessary. Guests can be guaranteed a relaxing and comfortable stay given that the owners Helen and Ian have been running the establishment since 1989 and they have additional experience in the tourism field in hotel management and consultancy.
