How to Care for a Fiberglass Shower
- 1). Rinse the fiberglass shower walls with water after every use. This will help ensure that soap scum is not sitting on the top of the shower walls.
- 2). Spray an all-purpose bathroom cleaner on the shower walls every week to remove soap scum and hard water buildup.
- 3). Wipe the walls down with paper towels.
- 4). Add just enough water to 2 tbsp. baking soda to make a thick paste.
- 5). Rub the paste on visible stains until you remove them. The baking soda acts as a mild abrasive that will grind away stains without hurting the fiberglass surface.
- 6). Rinse the area with clear water.
