Entrees include veal cordon bleu and sautéed calves liver. Rib-eye steak and hand-cut French fries are on the menu. Desserts of French pastries, include apple tart. • Franklin Lakes Country Café is known for its homemade pies. Locally owned since it opened in 1989 the cafe resides in a building that was originally the town post office. Franklin Lakes Luncheonette is a small diner open for breakfast and lunch. It serves traditional American diner fare, such as sandwiches and omelets. Take-out service is available at both restaurants, which are casual. Entrees average under $10.
