How to Put Air in a Tubeless Tire That's Gone Flat

104 31

    Instructions

    • 1). Plug the hole that caused the air to leak out. Purchase a tire plug kit at an auto repair shop.

    • 2). Jack up the vehicle and carefully remove the tire.

    • 3). Take the rope and wrap it around the tire along the center of the tread and tie it tightly. Tighten the rope as tightly as possible around the tire.

    • 4). Inflate the tire while tightening the rope. Use a second person to either tighten the rope or inflate the tire. While inflating, you will hear pop when the tire locks on to the rim. Continue inflating to the proper air pressure.

    • 5). Put the tire back on the vehicle and safely jack it down. If you struggle with any of the steps, you may need to take it to an auto repair center where they will have more tools to easily inflate the tire.
