What Are Angstrom Minerals?
- Named for Swedish physicist Anders Jonas Angstrom (1814-1874), an angstrom is a unit of measurement equal to one hundred-millionth of a centimeter.
- Due to their extremely small size, angstrom minerals are able to pass directly through cell walls. This makes them the most efficient form of mineral supplementation.
- Angstrom minerals are one thousand times smaller than traditional mineral supplements, which are normally colloidal in nature.
- Angstrom minerals are 100 percent absorbable by the body and require no digestion. They're also water-soluble, meaning they won't remain in the body and cause potential toxicity like other forms of mineral supplementation.
- The National Institutes of Health first began studying angstrom minerals during the 1950s.
