Planning Your Bouquet

  Select flowers and colors that complement the peacock feathers. Since peacock feathers come in a cool color palette, flowers that are purple, green or blue are good options. If you want a modern look, choose flowers with a "coarse" texture, which means a large blossom and a long stem. For a more natural look, use "fine" textured flowers, which means lots of smaller blossoms.
  
  

Ordering Your Supplies

• You can order flowers from a flower wholesaler who can give you a bulk rate. As you select and order your flowers, make sure you select varieties that will be in season when you need them. Peacock feathers can also be ordered online in bulk. Specify if you want the feather sticks dyed a certain color, or if you want butterfly and sword feathers included.
  
  

Preparing Your Supplies

• You will need stem wrap tape, floral wire, matching ribbon and a glue gun to build your bouquet. When your flowers arrive from the wholesaler, put them in a bucket filled with water. Add flower food to keep the flowers fresh. Trim the ends of the flowers and place them in the water in a cool place if you are not using them right away. You can also add a preservative to ensure your bouquet lasts.
  
  

Making Your Bouquet

• Arrange your flowers and peacock feathers in the configuration that you want. Loosely wrap the floral wire around the stems so that it spirals up from the bottom. Cut off any excess stem and wrap the floral tape around the stems and the wire. Cut your ribbon to the correct length and using the glue gun, glue one end an inch away from the bottom. Wrap the ribbon around the stem and glue the top end of the ribbon to the top of the stem.
