How to Export iCal to Excel
- 1). Run the iCal application.
- 2). Click the name of the calendar that you wish to export to Excel under the "Calendars" heading.
- 3). Click "File" in the menu bar and click "Export." Select a location for the file. iCal exports your calendar information into an ICS delimited text file.
- 4). Run the Microsoft Excel application.
- 5). Click the "File" tab and then click "Open." Navigate to the folder that contains your ICS file and open the file in Excel. Excel will run the Office Text Import Wizard to convert your ICS data into Excel format.
- 6). Check the box next to the ":" colon entry under the "Delimiters" heading.
- 7). Click "OK" to save your settings and import your ICS calendar data into Excel.
